Brethren, our next meeting on Tuesday 18th July will be the first part of the 3rd Degree for Bro Patrick Howard and the Election of officers for 2017-2018, Tyling at 7PM.   There will also be the Presentation of a 60 Year Jewel to R For Bro Ian McRaild. As usual, there will be Practice on Tuesday 4th and Tuesday 11th July, with a Management Meeting preceding the practice on the 11th Thursday 29th June saw some of the Brethren working at the Lodge’s Sausage Sizzle at Maroochydore Bunnings.

Brethren, our June Meeting on Saturday 24th June, Tyling at 6 pm, will be a Masonic Memorial Ceremony honouring our late members Wor. Bro. Graham J. Metcalfe, Wor. Bro. Delwyn. R. Linkhorn and Bro.Raymond D, Fuller, to which all members and their partners are invited to attend and it followed by a buffet dinner and refreshments in the South.   Please note the changed date and time for just this special meeting.   There will be a quick Business Meeting prior to the Lodge being open to family and friends.   Practices will be Tuesday 13th and 20th, with the Management Meeting being prior to the practice on the 20th.

Last night our April meeting saw 28 Members and 12 Visitors enjoying a great ceremony for the Raising of Bro Patrick King to the sublime Degree of Master Mason.   Another highlight of the evening was the presentation of a 50 Year Jewell to WB John Hogg, by WB Bob Medlicott.   A special welcome was extended to the Brethren from South Burnett Lodge in Kingaroy who made the long trip over for the meeting.   A good time was had in the South, with a few of the visitors walking out with raffle prizes.

Brethren, our work for Tuesday 18th April is to Raise Bro Patrick King to the Sublime Degree of Master Mason and also to present WB John Hogg with his 50 Year Service Jewel. We will be tyling at 7pm.   Management Meeting and Practice will be held on Tuesday 4th April at 7pm.   On Tuesday 11th April we will be hosting the Sunshine Coast Hand Heart Pocket Information Presentation by the CEO Gary Mark at 7:30. This presentation is open to all Freemasons on the Coast

Brethren, the work for our Meeting on Tuesday 21 March will to Raise Bro William Garcia to the Sublime Degree of a Master Mason, Tyling at 7 PM.   Another highlight of the meeting will be the Presentation of a 50 Year Jewel to R Wor Bro Roy Fursman, PAGM.   Practices will be on Tuesday 7th and 14th March, wit a Management Meeting preceding the Practice on the 14th. Both nights start at 7 PM.   March will also see the first of the Bunnings Sausage Sizzle fundraisers by the Lodge.

At last night’s meeting, 28 Members and 14 Visitors, including 2 International visitors, had an enjoyable night, with RWB Kevin Grant giving an Explanation of the First Degree Tracing Board to 2 Entered Apprentices, and then WB Humphrey walking 3 EA’s around the Lodge, showing them in the Lodge the things that had been mentioned in the Explanation.   The evening also saw the presentation of a 40 Year Jewel to RWB Grant by WB Bob Medlicott.   As Rosslyn Lodge had conducted a Fraternal Visit, they walked away with the Sunshine Coast Travelling Gavel, which was presented in the South.

Brethren, our February meeting on Tuesday 21 Feb, tyling at 7 PM, will be an Explanation of the 1st Degree Tracing Board, followed by some further Masonic Education by WB Humphrey and WB Medlicott.   There will be a Practice meeting on Tuesday 7th February at 7PM.   There will be a Management Meeting on Tuesday 14th February, starting at 7PM, followed by a Practice Meeting.

Last night saw a very good ceremony for Passing Bro Patrick Howard to the Second Degree.   There were 25 Members and 9 Visitors in attendance, with one visitor from Canada and one from the Philippines.   A great time was had in the South.

Brethren, our meeting this month is on Tuesday 17th January. We will be Passing Bro Patrick Howard to the Fellowcraft Degree.   Brethren doing work were advise last December, if in doubt please call the DC for advice.   Practices will be 7pm Tuesday 3 Jan and the Management Meeting anda full practice 7pm Tuesday 10th Jan.   All officers are expected to attend, or to advise the DC or WM if they cannot attend for some reason.

Brethren, This being December we will be opening and closing in the 1st Degree on Tuesday 20th, then joining our Partners and Families at the Festive Board. The cost is $20 per Brother, Ladies and Widows free. All Members and friends are invited to attend.   Please advise the Secretary if attending, so that the Caterer can be advised of the numbers.   As is our usual custom, Brethren are asked to donate a wrapped and age marked gift and some item of food for the Salvation Army, and also an item for the Raffle.   Practice on Tuesday 6th Dec will a 2nd Degree walkthroughs so we can be ready for the 2nd Degree in January.
