Tuesday night saw 29 Members and 2 Visitors witness the Raising of Bro Ryon Thorburn in a well done ceremony. This was then followed by great Festive Board, well catered for by Bro Raymond Vonder.

Brethren, our work for this month is to Raise Bro Ryon Thorburn to the Sublime Degree of a Master Mason on Tuesday 15th March, typing at 7:30 PM. There will be a full practice on Tuesday 8th March.

The February meeting saw the Lodge Raise Bro Branch to the Sublime Degree of a Master Mason on behalf of Waverley-Plamwoods Lodge. The work was shared between both Lodges. The Festive Board saw a great meal provided by Bro Vonder.  

Brethren, our work for February is a 3rd Degree on Bro Branch of Waverley-Palmwoods Lodge on Tuesday 16th. This will be a combined meeting, with two of the charges being conducted by Waverley-Palmwoods Brethren.   The Management Meeting will be on Tuesday 2nd, starting at 7pm and there will be a full practice on Tuesday 9th, starting at 7pm.

Great lunch on Saturday at Shelly Beach for members and partners at the Good Food Fells van, which is run by Raymond Vonder, one of our members. A great time was had by all, with everyone agreeing that the food was great. Mike Aldrich won the bottle of Scotch, kindly donated by Colin.  

26 Members and 11 Visitors, including a Fraternal from Montville Lodge, participated in a great educational session on the 1st Degree, which was greatly appreciated by our two EA’s. During the Festive Board, the WM of Montville, WB John Watson, presented our WM, WB Graham Humphrey, with the WB D Hall Gavel, and in return received the Sunshine Coast Travelling Gavel. Maroochydore Lodge are also the current holders of the John Oxley Gavel. The WB D Hall Gavel is presented to the host Lodge when the holding Lodge conducts a Fraternal visit. The Sunshine Cost Travelling Gavel is presented to the WM of a visiting Lodge, conducting a Fraternal visit. The Social Committee reported that the first function of the year would be on Saturday 30th January at the Shelley Beach Picnic Ground at 12PM.
