BrethrenOur next Meeting is Tuesday 15th January 2019. The Work for the evening is a 1st Degree for Mr David Eickenloff. There will be a Management Meeting preceding the Practice Meeting on Tuesday 8th January.All Brethren are requested to attend the Meetings, especially those who have Charges to present.
The final group of workers after all was cleaned up. Approx 960 sausages, nearly 70kgs, sold during Monday, Christmas Eve. A great effort by all involved and a great contribution to the Lodge’s Charity fund. Hopefully more next year.
Brethren Our December meeting will be on Tuesday 18th December, Tyling at 7:00PM. We will be Opening and Closing in the 1sT Degree, the joining our Partners for our Christmas Festive Board. There will be a Management Meeting and Practice on Tuesday 4th December. The Wor Master Invites the Brethren to accompany him on a Fraternal Visit to Montville Lodge on Tuesday 11th December. Meet at the Lodge for car pooling.
Brethren Our November Meeting will be on Tuesday 20th November, Tyling at 7PM. Work: First Degree for Mr Lachlan Digby. There will be a Presentation of a 50 Year Jewel to Wor Bro Brian Jackson of Windsor Lodge 290 by VW Bro John Whitehorn. There will be a Practice meeting on Thursday 8th November and a Management and Practice Meeting on Tuesday 13th November, at 7:00PM.
Today saw some Brethren and partners manning the Bunnings Sausage Sizzle, raising more funds for the next Charity donation.
Brethren, Our next meeting is on Tuesday 16th October, Tyling at 7:00. We will be Opening and Closing in the Three Degrees, and there will also be an Item of Masonic Interest. There will be a Management Meeting, followed by a Practice, on Tuesday 2nd October. On Tuesday 9th October, Montville Lodge are holding a Masonic Ceremony of Thanksgiving for RW Bro Bevan Christensen, OAM OSM PSGW, Tyling at 7:30. The Wor Master invites all Brethren who can, to accompany him to this Ceremony. We are also doing the Sausage Sizzle at Bunnings this Wednesday, the 26th.
Last night saw the Installation of Wor Bro Balwinder (Bob) Singh Reehal into the Chair of King Solomon. The AGM, RW Bro Cam Denyer and a GL Team was in attendance. A good attendance of Brethren witnessed a good ceremony, then enjoyed a great Festive Board. Thanks to all who attended and helped to make the Ceremony such a memorable one, especially the Ladies and Brethren who set up and decorated the South in such a great fashion. Wor Bros Doug McGill received and update to his Charity Jewell, and Wor Bro Brake received his first Charity Jewell. Wor Brake was also presented a repurposed Past Masters Jewell by the AGM, RW Bro Denyer. The Jewell had been first presented to Wor Bro McCarty in 1966, and handed back to the Lodge this year. Brethren, our Installation Meeting is Saturday 15th September, where we will be Installing W Bro Bob Reehal into the Chair of King Solomon. The Lodge will Tyle at 3PM. The AGM, RW Bro Cam Denyer will be representing the GM. There will practices on Tuesday 28th August and Tuesday 4th and 11th September. All Brethren involved in either the Installing Team or are to be Invested, are requested to attend every Practice that they can, especially the last practice.
Brethren, The Work for our August Meeting on Tuesday 21st August will be a Presentation by Bro Jamieson on Maroochydore Lodge. The Lodge will Type at 7:00PM. Management and Practice Meeting on 14th August, practice will be an initial run through of the Installation Ceremony. There will be Installation Practices on the 28th August and 4th and 11th September.
