26 Members and 11 Visitors, including a Fraternal from Montville Lodge, participated in a great educational session on the 1st Degree, which was greatly appreciated by our two EA’s.

During the Festive Board, the WM of Montville, WB John Watson, presented our WM, WB Graham Humphrey, with the WB D Hall Gavel, and in return received the Sunshine Coast Travelling Gavel. Maroochydore Lodge are also the current holders of the John Oxley Gavel.

The WB D Hall Gavel is presented to the host Lodge when the holding Lodge conducts a Fraternal visit. The Sunshine Cost Travelling Gavel is presented to the WM of a visiting Lodge, conducting a Fraternal visit.

The Social Committee reported that the first function of the year would be on Saturday 30th January at the Shelley Beach Picnic Ground at 12PM. All members and their families and friends are invited t attend to help support the efforts of Bro Raymond Vonder, who will be providing a choice of three meals at a discounted price $10 per head.
